Java Spark Developer

• Utilize knowledge of applications development testing procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancements, including using script tools and analyzing/interpreting code
• consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues, and recommend programming solutions, install, and support customer exposure systems
• apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications
• analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, as well as conduct testing and debugging
• serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
• identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgements to recommend and implement solutions
• resolve issues by identifying and selecting solutions through the applications of acquired technical experience and guided by precedents
• assess risk when business decisions are made
• conduct initiatives related to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process and product rollout into production
• design and implement appropriate scripts/plans for an application testing strategy/approach
• ensure systems and/or applications meet or exceed specified standards and end-user requirements
• work closely with key stakeholders to understand business and functional requirements to develop test plans, test cases, and scripts
• handle complex testing assignments

• Minimum 4 years of proven project experience
• hands-on with Spark 2.0 and above, Java 8 and above
• good with Hive / Oracle, Unix Shell Scripting
• experience on Spring Boot and Rest API
• good to have knowledge on Agile methodologies
• work with BA and understand all functional and technical requirements of the project
