Job Description:

We are seeking a Java Developer to participate in the analysis, design, development, and maintenance of a microloan provisioning platform for an innovative Fintech Company. Join a team of energetic professionals and help shape products that make a difference. The platform handles millions of loan transactions daily. Efficiency, performance, and quality are key aspects in every phase of software development, which the candidate should be aware of. Developers have the ability to see the product in all its lifecycle phases. The platform is implemented in Java using the Spring framework, based on a microservices architecture.

Job Responsibility:

  • Participating in the analysis, design, development, and maintenance of the platform
  • Ensuring efficiency, performance, and quality in every development phase
  • Contributing to a platform with technologies such as: Spring, JMS, REST Web Services, Hazelcast, Postgres, Kafka, Elastic, Docker Swarm, and Red Hat Linux

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of working experience in software engineering
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in the development of back-end platforms with strong programming skills in the Spring Framework
  • Knowledge of Relational Database technologies
  • Experience in working with secure code development guidelines and practices (e.g., OWASP, NIST)

Nice to have:

Knowledge of NoSQL
