We are seeking a Java Developer to participate in the analysis, design, development, and maintenance of a microloan provisioning platform for an innovative Fintech Company. Join a team of energetic professionals and help shape products that make a difference. The Software Engineer position is permanent and full-time, based in Athens, northern suburbs. A hybrid working model is also provided.

Job Responsibility:

  • Participating in the analysis, design, development, and maintenance of the platform
  • Ensuring efficiency, performance, and quality in every development phase
  • Contributing to a platform with technologies such as: Spring, JMS, REST Web Services, Hazelcast, Postgres, Kafka, Elastic, Docker Swarm, and Red Hat Linux

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in the development of back-end platforms with strong programming skills in the Spring Framework
  • Knowledge of Relational Database technologies
  • Knowledge of NoSQL will be considered an additional asset
  • Experience in working with secure code development guidelines and practices (e.g., OWASP, NIST)

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of NoSQL
