Job Description:

I’m working with a growing FinTech who are building modern financial technology solutions and looking for a talented developer to join their growing engineering team in London. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders and other engineers to deliver impactful, production-ready systems in a fast-moving environment. This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in Java who wants to build, ship and own end-to-end features that make a real difference.

Job Responsibility:

Design, develop and deploy cloud-based Java applications used by the business daily
Collaborate directly with product and business teams to turn ideas into reliable solutions
Take full ownership of services from design to release, ensuring clean, maintainable code
Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape best practices across the team

Requirements:

Java (ideally 17+)
Spring Boot or Micronaut frameworks
Cloud deployment experience (Azure preferred)
Working with NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB or similar)
Understanding of REST APIs, microservices and CI/CD pipelines
2–3 years’ hands-on development experience
Strong problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments
Curious, proactive and comfortable working directly with non-technical stakeholders
Excellent communicator who enjoys taking ownership and seeing projects through
