Job Description

We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer with professional experience in Java and ReactJS to support mission-critical software systems. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications, integrating secure backend services with dynamic front-end interfaces. This position requires supporting the modernization of a large-scale logistics and sustainment management tool by migrating legacy components to a loosely coupled microservices architecture.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Java (Spring Boot) and React
  • Support the migration of legacy Java Server Faces (JSF) applications to a modern, React-based front-end and microservices architecture
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs, ensuring secure communication between front-end and back-end components
  • Analyze existing JSF code to isolate business logic and transition it to a new API layer
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers, systems engineers, and database administrators to implement software solutions
  • Participate in code reviews, integration testing, and deployment pipelines
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the technology stack to ensure application reliability and performance
  • Ensure all development adheres to strict compliance and vulnerability standards

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of experience in full-stack development
  • Proficiency in both Java and React
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, RESTful API design, and secure web application development
  • Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools, and Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Nice to have

  • Experience in an aerospace or defense environment
  • Working knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with modern frameworks such as Redux or Next.js
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps pipelines and secure coding practices
  • Experience integrating APIs with identity management systems (OAuth2, SAML)
