Job Responsibility:

  • Lead a team of Java developers to design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, project managers, and architects to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and test plans
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure high code quality and adherence to coding standards
  • Coach and mentor team members to ensure they have the necessary skills to succeed
  • Participate in the recruitment and hiring process of new team members
  • Keep up to date with emerging trends and technologies in Java and related frameworks and incorporate them into the team's development practices
  • Ensure that all code is tested thoroughly to minimize bugs and issues
  • Contribute to the development of a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in developing Java-based applications using frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate
  • Experience with RESTful web services and Microservices architecture
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead and manage a team effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A passion for technology and a commitment to keeping up to date with emerging trends and technologies
  • Experience with cloud technologies, such as AWS or Azure
  • Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with frontend technologies such as ReactJS or AngularJS
  • Knowledge of database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL
  • At least 7 years of experience in Java development
  • At least 2 years of experience in a team lead or managerial role
  • Expert knowledge of Java programming language and its ecosystem
