Join our dynamic team as a Java Game Developer (libGDX), where you’ll bring engaging 2D and 3D cross-platform games to life. You'll leverage Java and the open-source libGDX framework to design, develop, and deploy high-performance games across desktop, Android, and web platforms, contributing to every stage of the game development lifecycle.
Job Responsibility:
Design, develop, and maintain immersive 2D and 3D games using Java and libGDX for multiple platforms
Collaborate closely with artists, designers, and other developers to define, prototype, and deliver new gameplay experiences
Optimize game performance to ensure smooth, high-quality user experiences across desktop, Android, and web environments
Build and maintain reusable, modular code architectures to accelerate future development and promote code sharing
Implement innovative gameplay mechanics, user interfaces, and interactive features that engage and delight players
Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues throughout the development process
Communicate clearly and proactively with team members, providing thoughtful feedback and documentation
Requirements:
Proven experience with Java programming, especially in game development
Extensive hands-on expertise with the libGDX framework
Strong understanding of cross-platform game development concepts and challenges
Demonstrated ability to optimize code for performance and efficiency
Experience creating reusable, modular code structures in a collaborative environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on clear, organized documentation and teamwork
Passion for crafting engaging, interactive gameplay experiences and a keen eye for detail
Nice to have:
Experience working on both 2D and 3D game projects
Familiarity with deploying games to web, Android, and desktop platforms using libGDX
