Job Description:

Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst position working on Digital Analytics/Usage Analytics project to collect, process, and analyze user interaction data from digital platforms to gain actionable insights into user behavior, platform performance, and engagement trends

Job Responsibility:

Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals
Identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business integrate to accomplish business goals
Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup

Requirements:

12+ years overall experience in Java, J2EE, React or similar UI technology stack
Spring
Spring boot
Java 17+
Design patterns
Microservices
Docker
Kubernetes
Python (Good to have)
Strong fundamentals of OOPS Concepts, Data Structures, and Algorithms
Strong experience developing and architecting integrated solution with non-functional requirements like scalability, high availability, consistency
Ability to write 'Clean code' using Core Java, JEE, Collections, Multithreading
Strong experience with API and Web Services development using REST protocols
Fundamental database concepts and experience with relational database (Postgresql, Oracle) or NoSQL platforms
Ability and willingness to work across multiple tools, frameworks, and technology stacks
Fundamental understanding of and experience with cloud platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes
Usage of Swagger/Open API specification to define, document, implement and test APIs
Good understanding of Standard, Enterprise Design Patterns, and SOLID principles
Understanding of Containers, docker deployment
Good understanding of observability and devops
Strong knowledge with testing frameworks
Experience in performing effective code and design reviews
Experience in High-Speed Messaging platforms such as KAFKA
Experience using GenAI tools such as copilot for code development, testing
Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery technologies and tools
Experience with Jenkins
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering/University degree or equivalent experience
