Job Description:

This role focuses on digital software engineering, involving the development, testing, implementation, and support of various technology solutions. The candidate is expected to possess full-stack development experience, strong fundamentals in object-oriented programming, and expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AngularJS, and other related technologies. The position requires strong problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.

Job Responsibility:

Write code on one or more development platforms to deliver part or all of a feature
Respond to problems, questions, or situations by applying established criteria to directly influence development outcomes
Have responsibility for applications systems analysis and programming activities
Accountable for development, design, construction, testing and implementation and write secure, stable, testable and maintainable code
Engage in digital applications development, risk technology, Middleware, Mainframe applications, Non Mainframe applications, Analytic Model Development and Application support activities
Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues and recommend programming solutions
Understand the business context and the associated customer use cases
Participate in design sessions to gain an understanding of the context for design decisions
Provide inputs for building project development schedules
Highlight technical dependencies between deliverables and help the team reach consensus
Provide inputs to help improve development-related processes that accelerate delivery, drive innovation, lower costs, and improve quality
Successfully complete assessment tests or certifications to demonstrate technical expertise.

Requirements:

2-4 years in an Apps Development role
Demonstrated execution capabilities
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Data driven and results-oriented
Experience in running high traffic, distributed, cloud based services
Experience in affecting large culture change
Experience leading infrastructure programs
Skilled at working with third party service providers
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Must have experience with Angular, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, NodeJs and Git
Strong / Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role – Full stack (e.g. Java, J2EE, Angular JS, SQL, Spring, Hibernate, ReactJS, NodeJs, Oracle, CICD Pipelines(Docker/Containers))
Strong fundamentals of OOPS (Object Oriented Programming Standards) Concepts, Data Structures, and Algorithms
Ability to write 'Clean code' using Core Java, JEE, Collections, Multithreading
Experience with Spring Framework - Spring Boot, Microservices at the minimum
Strong experience with API and Web Services development using REST protocols
Must have a good understanding of Unit testing, test coverage
Good working knowledge of source code control tools and technologies
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.

Nice to have:

Experience leading infrastructure programs
Skilled at working with third party service providers
Ability and willingness to work across multiple tools, frameworks, and technology stacks
Familiarity with developing and architecting integrated solution with non-functional requirements like scalability, high availability, consistency.
