Job Description:

The Java Fullstack Applications Development Lead is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The role includes developing and maintaining UI Platform Services, cloud-native microservices, APIs, and user interfaces, collaborating with teams, and enhancing platform capabilities.

Job Responsibility:

Design, develop, and maintain core components of the UI Platform Services
Build scalable, resilient, and secure systems using modern software development practices
Ensure seamless integration with other platform services
Collaborate with developers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions
Contribute to platform evolution by exploring and implementing new technologies
Enhance capabilities and improve developer experience
Mentor junior developers through code reviews

Requirements:

Strong Java skills
Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and related technologies (HTML, CSS)
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Understanding of microservices principles and experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
Knowledge of testing frameworks and best practices (unit, integration, and end-to-end testing)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Nice to have:

Experience with OpenShift or Cloud Foundry
Experience with DevSecOps practices
Experience with SRE best practices
Financial industry experience
