Job Description:

The Java Fullstack Applications Development Lead is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs. This role involves contributing to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Key tasks include leading the design, development, and maintenance of cloud-native services, APIs, and UI components, with a focus on scalability, resilience, and security. The role requires collaboration with developers, architects, and stakeholders, as well as mentoring junior team members.

Job Responsibility:

Design, develop, and maintain core components of UI Platform Services, including cloud-native microservices, APIs, and user interfaces
ensure seamless integration with other platform services while collaborating with developers, architects, and stakeholders
build scalable, resilient, and secure systems using modern software development practices
contribute to platform evolution by exploring and implementing new technologies
enhance capabilities and improve developer experience
mentor junior developers through code reviews

Requirements:

Extensive experience with Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot)
proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and related technologies (HTML, CSS)
experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
understanding of microservices principles and experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI)
experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
knowledge of testing frameworks and best practices (unit, integration, and end-to-end testing)
excellent communication and teamwork skills
strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Nice to have:

Experience with OpenShift or Cloud Foundry
experience with DevSecOps practices
experience with SRE best practices
financial industry experience
