Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team in the banking domain. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining applications using Java and Spring technologies, with a focus on cloud-native development, SQL/NoSQL databases, container orchestration, CI/CD tools, and messaging systems. Familiarity with React.js, Python, and AI/LLM technologies is a plus. Strong banking domain expertise and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize applications are crucial for this hybrid position in Tampa, Florida.

Job Responsibility:

Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks
Implement solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases
Build and manage cloud-native applications using Kubernetes and containerization technologies
Work closely with the Tech Lead, architects, and other team members to deliver high-quality solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical implementations
Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Harness and Tekton
Automate deployment processes to ensure efficient delivery of applications
Develop messaging solutions using Kafka
Implement and manage batch and scheduler-based processing systems
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and quality
Debug and resolve production issues in a timely manner
Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
5+ years of experience in Java development with expertise in Spring Boot and related technologies
Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and containerization
Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Harness and Tekton
Experience with Kafka, batch processing, and schedulers
Familiarity with React.js, Python, and AI/LLM technologies is a plus
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
