Job Description:

This pivotal role blends deep technical leadership with strong analytical and business understanding, responsible for leading technical direction of critical applications while engaging with business stakeholders to define requirements and ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.

Job Responsibility:

Lead design, architecture, and hands-on development of full stack applications
Provide technical leadership and strategic direction to development teams
Drive best practices in software development
Champion adoption of modern technologies and cloud-native solutions
Mentor and develop senior engineers
Lead troubleshooting and performance tuning
Act as liaison between technology teams and business stakeholders
Translate business needs into technical requirements
Conduct business process analysis
Define functional and non-functional requirements
Facilitate requirements gathering workshops
Perform gap analysis
Evaluate technical feasibility and business impact

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
Master's degree highly preferred
10+ years of progressive experience in software development
5+ years in a senior/lead full stack Java & Angular development role
3+ years leadership experience in architecting enterprise-level applications
3+ years as a Business Analyst or similar role
Expert-level proficiency in Java and Spring ecosystem
Expertise in modern Angular development (Angular 2+)
Extensive experience designing RESTful and SOAP Web Services
Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture
Proven experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes
Extensive hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Strong command of SQL (Oracle preferred)
Proficiency with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in financial services industry

Nice to have:

Expertise in Messaging Systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, IBM MQ)
Deep understanding of Linux Ecosystem
Experience with enterprise scheduling tools (Autosys)
Experience with API Management platforms (Apigee, API Gateway)
Proficiency with APM Tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics)
Experience with Caching Technologies (Hazelcast, Redis, Memcached)
