Job Description:

The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. We are looking for intermediate full-stack software engineers who are passionate about solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices.

Job Responsibility:

Participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs
Contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities
Implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team
Full-stack coding and implementation responsibilities
Adhere to best practice principles including modern cloud-based software development, agile and scrum, code quality, and tool usage

Requirements:

2-5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry
Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role
Knowledge and development experience in backend technologies: Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, Microservice Architecture, Multithreading
Knowledge and development experience in database technologies: Oracle, Mongo
Knowledge and development experience in frontend technologies: Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS3/SASS
Experience in containerization technologies: OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS
Familiarity with DevOps concepts, tools and continuous delivery pipelines: Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, uDeploy, Tekton, Harness, Jira
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
