Job Description:

We are looking for a full stack core software engineer with deep knowledge of Java/Python and its ecosystems for building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. The candidate will work on mission-critical applications, design business processes, and deploy solutions in a cloud environment.

Job Responsibility:

Understand user requirements and work with the development team on Java/Python application design, implementation, and delivery
provide expertise in the entire software development lifecycle
work closely with the business architecture team to design and implement business processes
use tools and technologies like Java/Python, Angular, RESTful APIs, and Kafka Streams.

Requirements:

7+ years of industry experience with strong hands-on development experience in Java/Python technologies
experience with complex system integration projects
Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, J2EE Design Patterns, REST services
front-end technologies like JavaScript and Angular, CSS2/CSS3, HTML
strong knowledge of SQL, JDBC, Unix commands
hands-on database experience with relational (Oracle/DB2) and NoSQL (MongoDB)
hands-on experience with cloud deployment
expertise in testing tools like JUnit/Mockito/Cucumber
experience in deployment with Apache Tomcat/Openshift or other cloud environments
familiarity with Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration (Jenkins), and development tools like Eclipse/IntelliJ
excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
experience working with business analysts and technical architects globally
experience with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Scrum)
experience in Financial Services industry is advantageous.

Nice to have:

Experience in Python and Unix shell scripting
familiarity with financial and reporting hierarchies.
