Job Description:

As part of our global technology team of Trade Confirmations product, you will be working with a group of passionate engineers who work on building technical solutions to solve complex business problems. We are going through a very exciting phase of transformation in OTC derivatives and Commodities domains in Markets Technology, and you will be required to participate in the whole spectrum of SDLC, closely working with product teams, business users and support teams.

Job Responsibility:

Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals
Identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming
Ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business integrate to accomplish business goals
Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
Serve as advisor or coach to junior developers and analysts
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made

Requirements:

8-12 years of relevant experience in Apps Development role
Hands-on experience in professional software development, system design and implementing modern engineering practices
Proficiency in programming in Java
Experience of building RESTful APIs using popular frameworks like Spring
Experience of working with event driven and distributed systems, microservices, micro-frontend UIs
Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and clean code principles
Experience with trunk-based development
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Proficiency with data structures, algorithms and SQL
Experience conducting code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and secure coding
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced agile environments
Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams
Knowledge of performance tuning, observability, and production monitoring
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and modern ways of working in product development
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
