Job Description

We are currently seeking a Java FileNet Developer to join our team in Bengaluru, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Job Responsibility

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using IBM FileNet P8
  • Implement and customize FileNet Content Engine (CE) and Process Engine (PE) components
  • Develop Java-based integrations using FileNet Java APIs
  • Configure and manage FileNet Object Stores, document classes, properties, and security
  • Work on FileNet workflows, document lifecycle management, and BPM solutions
  • Perform FileNet administration tasks such as deployment, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather and implement ECM requirements
  • Provide production support and resolve FileNet-related issues

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience working with IBM FileNet
  • Strong experience using Java with FileNet APIs
  • Strong hands-on experience with IBM FileNet P8
  • Expertise in FileNet Content Engine (CE) and Process Engine (PE)
  • Proficient in Java programming with FileNet APIs
  • Experience with FileNet Workplace / Workplace XT / Content Navigator
  • Strong understanding of document management, records management, and content lifecycle
  • Experience with FileNet workflows and business process management
  • Knowledge of Web Services, XML, and REST/SOAP integrations
  • Familiarity with application servers (WebSphere / WebLogic / JBoss)
  • Good understanding of FileNet security, roles, and access control

Nice to have

  • Experience with IBM Content Navigator (ICN) customization
  • Exposure to Case Manager
  • Knowledge of FileNet administration, backup, and migration
  • Experience with database systems (Oracle / DB2 / SQL Server)
  • Understanding of performance tuning and troubleshooting in FileNet environments
