Job Description:

Join our scrum team as a Java Developer to design and develop digital products for forward-thinking industries like renewable energy, sharing economy services, automotive or mobile marketing, and tourism. Since we cooperate with our clients like equal partners, you will not only build products but communicate with clients as a consultant as well.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build well-designed, user-centered apps for foreign clients
  • Work hand in hand with the client’s team without unnecessary proxies
  • Develop complex products in an “A-Z manner”
  • Propose outcomes apart from just implementing them
  • Embrace True Scrum and Agile methodologies on a daily basis
  • Plan your own work as part of self-managing teams
  • Conduct code review and use best practices (TDD, BDD etc.)
  • Create your own career path

Requirements:

  • Min. 3+ years of experience in Java programming (Java 17+)
  • Strong knowledge of Spring Boot framework (3.2.x)
  • Hands-on experience with Docker for creating and managing containerized applications
  • Proficiency in using Kubernetes for deploying, scaling, and managing containerized applications in a cloud environment
  • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning
  • Experience with Redis
  • Familiarity with OpenAPI (Swagger)
  • Good understanding of REST API
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (Git preferably)
  • Knowledge of Webflux and Reactive Programming
  • Experience in direct client cooperation and a proactive approach
  • Iterative work (you successively deliver the next elements of a whole solution)
  • Command of English and Polish on B2+ level

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with the process of documenting architecture decisions using ADRs
  • Experience in designing and developing APIs with an API-first mindset
  • Knowledge and experience in developing both microservices and modular monolithic architectures
  • Ability to follow and implement general client technology standards
