Job Description:

The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Job Responsibility:

Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts to identify and define necessary system enhancements
Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues and recommend programming solutions
Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications
Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, conduct testing and debugging
Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts
Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgements to recommend and implement solutions
Resolve issues by identifying and selecting solutions through acquired technical experience
Operate with limited level of direct supervision
Exercise independence of judgement and autonomy
Act as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members
Assess risk when business decisions are made
Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment
Participate in code reviews
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements:

4-8 years in an Apps Development role
Demonstrated execution capabilities
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Data driven and results-oriented
Experience in running high traffic, distributed, cloud based services
Experience in affecting large culture change
Experience leading infrastructure programs
Skilled at working with third party service providers
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Design and deliver web solutions with a focus on multi-tenant architecture
Develop and maintain robust and scalable web applications using Java, SpringBoot, Kafka, Angular, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, and jQuery
Design and implement integrations using microservices architecture, with must experience with Kafka
Work with SQL and other standard database query tools
Experience with Angular
Experience with Red hat open shift
Hands-on development experience with Java
Experience with CI/CD development methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Git, Bitbucket)
Experience with web services such as SOAP and REST
Experience with data modeling languages such as XML and JSON
Experience with networking technologies such as routing/switching, load balancing, and DNS

Nice to have:

Equipped to use AI tools
Good to have knowledge in AI, Gen AI
