Job Description:

The position involves applications development, including analyzing and resolving production issues, implementing new systems, and evaluating application vulnerabilities and security risks. Candidates should have strong knowledge of Java and related technologies, experience with banking payment systems, and exposure to DevOps tools and Agile processes.

Job Responsibility:

Identify and define necessary system enhancements, including using script tools and analyzing/interpreting code
Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups to recommend programming solutions, install, and support customer exposure systems
Apply knowledge of programming languages for design specifications
Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, and conduct testing/debugging
Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts
Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgments to recommend and implement solutions
Operate with a limited level of direct supervision, exercising independence of judgment
Act as an SME to senior stakeholders or other team members
Adhere to compliance policies and apply ethical judgment in business practices.

Requirements:

Minimum 5+ years of experience
Good hands-on development experience in Java, J2EE, Struts, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Microservice, RestAPI
Past experience in banking payment systems like SAG, SWiftNet Protocols (FileAct/InterAct), ISO20022 message formats
Understanding of SQL, Unix, Oracle, IBM WAS, and IBM MQ
Ability to act as application SME/L3 and resolve production issues
Exposure to DevOps tools like TeamCity, Udeploy, Autosys, Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift
Experience in UAT/PROD deployment
Understanding of Agile process.
