Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, and implement critical new features using full-stack Java technologies
  • Contribute to the integration and onboarding of new vendor offerings to enhance system capabilities
  • Collaborate with a fast-paced Agile Scrum team, participating in daily stand-ups and engaging in continuous development
  • Ensure high-quality code through robust testing, debugging, and adherence to best practices
  • Work with various database technologies to support application functionality and data integrity
  • Actively participate in team discussions, fostering a collaborative and innovative development culture

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Java and related frameworks
  • Proficiency as a full-stack Java developer
  • Extensive experience with the Spring Boot application framework
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile and Scrum
  • Proficiency with version control systems, specifically GitHub
  • Knowledge of databases, including Mongo and SQL
  • Strong testing and debugging skills, with familiarity in JUnit or other Java testing libraries
  • Experience in writing BDD test scenarios using Cucumber
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
