Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our team in Augusta, Georgia. In this role, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of secure, scalable Java-based applications while collaborating with senior developers and system engineers. This position offers the opportunity to work in an agile environment, delivering innovative solutions to support mission-critical systems.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and enhance Java-based applications to meet evolving requirements
  • Collaborate with team members to design and implement reliable software solutions
  • Conduct testing, validation, and deployment of software systems to ensure quality and functionality
  • Integrate user interfaces and services for scalable data processing
  • Document code and follow agile development practices to maintain project standards
  • Provide Tier 3 support for operational software, addressing any issues that arise
  • Analyze existing systems to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements
  • Work within a DevOps framework to optimize software delivery and performance
  • Utilize tools like ActiveMQ, REST, and NoSQL databases to develop efficient back-end services
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of software in a Linux environment

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in developing back-end services using Java
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and modern web interface development
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases and elastic database solutions
  • Ability to validate software capabilities, execute test cases, and capture results
  • Experience with Linux-based development environments
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies and CI/CD processes
  • Skilled in using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence for tracking and documentation
