Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa. Job Responsibility:

Develop and maintain front-end applications using technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
build and enhance Java-based systems, ensuring compatibility with frameworks like Maven and Spring Boot
collaborate with team members to modernize legacy applications and improve system functionality
write efficient SQL queries and ensure seamless integration with databases
troubleshoot and resolve production issues in collaboration with development teams
conduct unit testing and participate in quality assurance processes to ensure code reliability
work on feature enhancements and deliver solutions that align with project requirements
stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into development workflows
contribute to system optimization efforts to improve application performance and scalability.

Requirements:

At least 1 year of Java development experience or a strong internship background demonstrating attention to detail
proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
familiarity with Java frameworks such as Maven and Spring Boot
solid understanding of database management and ability to write efficient SQL queries
strong problem-solving skills and ability to address production issues effectively
exposure to AS400 systems is a plus but not required
experience with quality assurance processes, including manual or automated testing, is an advantage
excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
