Randstad Digital is looking for a senior Java Backend Developer and Scrum Master for an exciting consultancy assignment with one of our most prominent clients in Gothenburg. In this dynamic dual role and you will play a pivotal part in a diverse team. Job Responsibility

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend services using Java
  • Act as the team's Scrum Master, ensuring agile principles are followed and helping the team continuously improve their delivery flow
  • Ensure system scalability and perform load testing for high-performance applications
  • Collaborate closely within a cross-functional DevOps environment to ensure smooth deployment and operation
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to more junior team members

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of professional experience in backend Java programming, preferably using technologies like Spring Boot, JMS, and RelDb (or similar tools)
  • Solid experience with AWS (Serverless, Node.js) and a strong foundation in Unix/Linux environments
  • Proven experience working in an Agile environment and a strong background in Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  • Demonstrated experience acting as a Scrum Master for technical development teams
  • Deep understanding of microservices architecture, design, and scalability
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Nice to have

  • Experience within the Automotive industry and connectivity solutions
  • Experience with UDP, Binary SMS, sat-com, or ASN1
  • Additional knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, CDK, Code Pipelines, Docker, Serverless development, and application profiling
