Job Description:

Intermediate full-stack software engineer responsible for implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. This role involves full-stack coding and implementation responsibilities while adhering to best practice principles including modern cloud-based software development, agile and scrum methodologies.

Job Responsibility:

Translate application designs into well-structured, secure, testable, and maintainable code
Develop small-scale features and functions independently
Perform application systems analysis and programming
Write unit tests and integrate code into the CI/CD pipeline
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Understand application development concepts and principles
Learn system functionality, architecture, dependencies, and runtime properties
Participate in solution discussions, system design reviews, and documentation creation
Communicate technical concepts clearly
Collaborate effectively with team members
Contribute to improving team processes
Adhere to Citi's risk and compliance policies

Requirements:

Minimum 4-7 years in an Apps Development role
Hands-on experience in backend technologies: Java, Spring Boot, and Microservice Architecture
Experience in containerization technologies: OpenShift, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP
Familiarity with DevOps concepts, tools and continuous delivery pipelines: Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Tekton, Harness, Jira
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Data driven and results-oriented
Clear and concise written and verbal communication
Problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience

Nice to have:

Knowledge/Proficiency in leveraging Generative AI/LLM technologies for application development
