Job Description:

The Senior Consultant role at NTT DATA involves leading the design and development of scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot. Candidates should have over 9 years of experience in backend development, with strong expertise in AWS and microservices architecture. Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems
  • Requires strong technical leadership, architectural thinking, and hands-on development experience in cloud-native microservices

Requirements:

  • 9+ years of experience in backend development with Java
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices
  • Strong expertise in Java (Java 8+), OOPs, Collections, Concurrency
  • Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA
  • Strong expertise in RESTful API design
  • Proven experience designing and deploying applications on AWS
  • Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes / ECS, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience creating HLDs, LLDs, sequence diagrams, and API specifications

Nice to have:

  • Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Knowledge of Spring Cloud components
  • Exposure to Reactive programming (WebFlux)
  • Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code
  • Domain experience in Banking, Financial Services, or large-scale enterprise systems
