Job Description:

The Java Backend Lead Analyst is responsible for leading engineering activities including the design, deployment, and operation of software solutions, while ensuring quality standards within planned frameworks. The role also involves contributing to data architecture, mentoring junior team members, and troubleshooting data and client issues.

Job Responsibility:

Serve as subject matter expert for stakeholders
define system enhancements
troubleshoot data and client experience issues
contribute to data integration into DataHub
create data tools for analytics and data scientist teams
mentor junior team members
ensure quality standards within planning frameworks
drive adoption of capabilities across regions

Requirements:

Serve as a technology subject matter expert
ensure integration of functions that meet business goals
define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products
recommend product customization for system integration
identify problem causality, business impact and root causes
mentor junior team members
contribute to microservice architecture development
drive data integration into DataHub
troubleshoot data and client experience issues
create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture
automate manual processes
build data infrastructure for extraction, transformation, and loading
participate in team ceremonies
build analytics tools for actionable insights
ensure data security across boundaries
create tools for analytics and data scientists
adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
demonstrated experience in HBase, Mongo DB, Oracle, CICD, Light speed, OpenShift, ML/AL, Java, Java Microservice, Python, PySpark, Hadoop, Google, AWS
languages: must be expert in Java, proficiency in Python is a plus
frameworks: Spring Boot, Java Microservices, REST API, GraphQL
messaging/streaming tools: Apache Kafka
databases: HBase, MongoDB, Oracle, SQL
cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud
DevOps tools: CI/CD pipelines, OpenShift, Git
big data technologies: Hadoop and PySpark
complementary skills: LightSpeed, ML/AL concepts
education: bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering is required, master’s degree preferred
hands-on expert coding experience

Nice to have:

Python proficiency
awareness of ML/AL concepts
experience with LightSpeed
