Java Architect

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, loosely coupled systems, driving the transition from monolithic to modern, distributed architectures
• Partner with business and technology leaders to define architecture roadmaps, support modernization efforts, and align solutions with enterprise strategy
• Establish and promote best practices for event-based systems, ensuring effective communication across platforms and domains
• Drive proof-of-concept initiatives, evaluate emerging technologies, and lead design sessions to validate business and technical solutions
• Define and enforce architecture standards related to security, compliance, performance, and responsible AI practices
• Guide and develop engineers and architects, fostering a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and engineering excellence
• Work closely with product, engineering, and external partners to deliver integrated, scalable, and observable solutions

• 10+ years of experience leading enterprise architecture initiatives
• Strong expertise in event-driven architecture and enterprise integration patterns
• Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience mentoring and developing technical teams
• Experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS preferred)
• Proficiency in Python, Java or .NET, and relational databases
• Strong experience with microservices, APIs, and event-based systems
• Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and SDLC best practices
• Experience with prototyping, experimentation, and solution validation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset
• Ability to influence decisions and operate as a trusted advisor
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience working within Agile environments, including Agile Release Trains (ART)
