Marcus Evans Summits, the elite division of the world’s leading producer of business events, is now recruiting for an Event Coordinator for its Japanese Summits division. The Event Coordinator will be part of the Operations team that provides administrative support to a team of Event Managers and Event Coordinators. We are looking for a dedicated, detail-orientated and self-motivated professional, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively correspond with our various offices and departments. Job Responsibility:

  • Management support (updating daily reports)
  • Database management (data entry and extraction)
  • Liaison with sales teams (collecting, inputting and managing contract-/client-related data)
  • Telephone call and e-mail handling

Requirements:

  • C2 level of the Japanese language (verbal and written)
  • Advanced level of the English language (verbal and written)
  • Previous work experience in an administrative and/or customer service environment or any other related field will be considered a definite advantage
  • Ability to work under pressure and follow deadlines and schedules
  • High attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy
  • Multi-tasking and time management skills
