Embark on an exciting journey with Barclays as part of our Operations – Middle Office team, where you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting various business areas across the bank. You’ll manage day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, and resolving trade-related issues. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Japanese will be instrumental in fostering connections and driving success. Your decisive problem-solving abilities and assertive approach to risk and controls and process improvements will also be key to thriving in this role. This role will be based in our Tokyo office.
Job Responsibility
Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution
Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes
Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes
Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency
Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders
Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations
Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements
