Job Description:

Atlas FM is looking to recruit a janitor at our client’s premises in Basingstoke. We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference in their working environment and feel proud about the work they do. The role involves dedicated time on site to going the extra mile and seamlessly meeting the needs of Atlas’ clients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver the cleaning & maintenance specification
  • Provide a high standard of customer care
  • Handle site-based equipment and cleaning materials
  • Replenish consumables (paper towels, soap, toilet paper, bin liners)
  • Empty all litter bins into appropriate waste & recycling containers
  • Ensure cleaning is completed to the highest standards at all times
  • Ensure external areas are kept clean, maintained, and well presented
  • Maintain bins/recycling room
  • Accept and coordinate deliveries
  • Maintain Health and Safety standards at all times
  • Work within a team that goes the extra mile

Requirements:

  • An attitude to thrive, and cleaning/supervisory experience
  • Ability to carry out the physical aspects of the role
  • A basic level of spoken English for communication on safety and with the public/management
  • Good social skills to deliver service with a smile
  • A right to work in the UK
