Job Description

To accurately and completely take food and beverage orders, efficiently serve food and beverages to guests and attend to guests' needs.

  • Anticipate guest needs, offer suggestions and ascertain satisfaction
  • Take ownership of guest concerns and requests and act decisively to ensure guest satisfaction when glitches occur
  • Describe food & beverage menu items with interesting and vivid descriptions in a concise, informative and appropriate manner
  • Be highly sensitive to guest preferences
  • Assist in compiling guest history
  • Offer a special service touch when an opportunity is presented
  • Requisition supplies according to established procedures
  • Accurately post guest checks, process payments and adhere to related control procedures in a vigilant manner

Requirements

  • Has 1-2 years of relevant experience in 5 star hotels/resorts or reputable stand alone restaurants
  • Possesses excellent English, math and psychometric abilities
  • Possesses aptitude and upward mobility
  • Technical education in Hospitality Management is preferred
  • Basic wine knowledge preferred
