IV Compounding Pharmacy Technician

• Adheres to all state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Supports the preparation, packaging, and coordination of patient medication deliveries under pharmacist supervision
• Manages shipment documentation and monitors delivery timelines to maintain uninterrupted patient care
• Conducts follow-up communication with patients or caregivers to confirm delivery and satisfaction
• Inputs accurate prescription and patient data into pharmacy software and record systems
• Keeps required continuing education up to date per state guidelines
• Participates in regular inventory counts and documentation for medications and supplies
• Assists with collection and verification of billing and insurance documentation
• Maintains compliance with company operational policies and quality standards
• Performs additional duties or special projects as needed

• Completion of a high school education or equivalent
• Holds an active, unrestricted state pharmacy technician license
• Must obtain national certification (CPhT) within one year of hire
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR) systems

Prior experience in a home infusion or specialty pharmacy environment is highly desirable
