Job Description:

Communicate service needs, manage group function charges, oversee preparations for service, ensure quality standards, and deliver outstanding guest experiences. Join the team at Bvlgari Hotel Beijing as an Italian Restaurant Captain with Marriott International.

Job Responsibility:

Communicate service needs to chefs and stewards throughout functions
total charges for group functions and prepare and present checks for payment
ensure banquet rooms, restaurants, and coffee breaks are ready for service
ensure proper centerpieces are displayed on every table
inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver
check in with guests to ensure satisfaction
set tables according to type of event and service standards
communicate meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen
maintain cleanliness of work areas
follow company and safety and security policies and procedures
complete safety training and certifications
ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
support team to reach common goals
ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
perform other reasonable job duties as requested

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 2 years of related work experience
at least 1 year of supervisory experience
