Job Description:

Prepare and cook food in a high-quality environment as part of the culinary team at Bulgari Hotel Shanghai, adhering to company policies and maintaining a professional, clean workspace.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables
weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
monitor food quality
ensure cleanliness of kitchen area and tools
check appliance and food temperatures
adhere to company policies and safety standards
maintain positive working relationships
respond to employee concerns
ensure quality expectations are met.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 1 year of related work experience
ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and perform physical activities like bending, twisting, and lifting up to 25 pounds
adherence to safety and security policies and professional appearance standards
ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
effective communication skills.
