Position Overview We’re looking for a hands-on Workplace Engineer - Microsoft 365 Specialist to own and evolve our modern workplace environment. This permanent role is ideal for someone who enjoys building, migrating, and optimising Microsoft 365 platforms end to end, from Intune and endpoint management to identity, security, and tenant consolidation. You’ll play a key role in modernising how our people work, ensuring a secure, reliable, and user-friendly digital experience across the organisation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Intune from the ground up, including Autopilot, compliance policies, and application deployments
  • Lead Microsoft 365 tenant consolidation, including Exchange Online mailbox migrations
  • Migrate on-prem AD and GPOs into Azure Entra ID and Intune
  • Transition devices from AD-joined to Azure AD–joined or hybrid environments
  • Manage and optimise Windows 10/11 endpoint environments
  • Implement and maintain identity, access, and security controls (Conditional Access, MFA, compliance policies)
  • Provide Level 2/3 escalation support for workplace technologies
  • Automate and streamline processes using PowerShell
  • Maintain clear documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience administering and engineering Microsoft 365 environments in complex organisations
  • strong hands-on expertise across Microsoft Intune, Windows 10/11, Azure Entra ID, and Endpoint Manager
  • Successfully implemented Intune from the ground up, including migrating Group Policies (GPOs) into Intune
  • Experience delivering Microsoft 365 tenant consolidation, including Exchange Online mailbox migrations
  • Strong PowerShell scripting capability for automation, reporting, and administration
  • Solid understanding of identity, access management, and endpoint security principles, including Conditional Access and compliance policies
  • Comfortable working in enterprise or complex IT environments, partnering with multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solver with excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, and a high attention to detail
  • Communicate clearly, maintain strong documentation, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
