A major operator in the energy distribution sector in Greece is seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT & Telecommunications Technician to join their dynamic team, supporting critical national infrastructure projects. Job Responsibility:

  • Wireless Expertise: You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the wireless infrastructure: installation, configuration, and proactive maintenance of radio frequency (RF), Wi-Fi, and other specialized telecommunication equipment
  • Network Backbone: Manage and maintain the supporting network environment, including routers, switches, and associated cabling, ensuring high availability and robust performance
  • Troubleshooting & Resolution: Act as the first line of defense for network issues, providing expert diagnosis and timely resolution for all data and telecommunication problems across various installations
  • Project Synergy: Collaborate closely with the client's Electrical Technicians to successfully implement new projects and installations nationwide

Requirements:

  • A degree or Diploma in IT, Informatics, Telecommunications Technology, or a relevant technical specialization
  • Solid foundational knowledge of computer networks, including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN architecture, and practical experience with network installations
  • A valid driving license (Category B) is mandatory
  • Willingness and ability to work off-site and travel frequently across Greece
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Basic proficiency in general computer operation (MS Office Suite, email communication)
  • High levels of responsibility, consistency, and professional diligence

Nice to have:

Proven professional experience in the installation, maintenance, or operation of telecommunication or specialized wireless equipment will be a significant advantage
