IT Technician

• Provide technical support for financial applications, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with platforms such as Symitar and Synergy
• Handle onboarding and offboarding processes for users, including hardware setup, account creation, and access configuration
• Manage and resolve help desk tickets, documenting all actions and solutions accurately within the system
• Maintain and update IT documentation, including system settings, troubleshooting procedures, and asset records
• Diagnose and resolve basic network issues, such as Wi-Fi connectivity and LAN/WAN problems
• Oversee IT hardware inventory, coordinating the deployment and recovery of assets as needed
• Work closely with vendors to address technical challenges and escalate issues appropriately
• Participate in IT projects, contributing to the implementation and upgrades of systems
• Educate employees on IT policies, tools, and best practices to enhance their technical proficiency

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a related role
• Proficiency in troubleshooting LAN and WAN networks
• Familiarity with Active Directory for user account management and access control
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and vendors
• Ability to maintain detailed and accurate IT documentation
• Knowledge of IT hardware and asset management processes

Experience with credit union-specific applications or financial platforms is a plus
