Job Description

We are looking for a Technical Consultant with experience in IT operations, monitoring, and observability. You will support customers in improving visibility across their infrastructure, applications, and services. In this role, you will act as a trusted technical advisor for customers. You will deliver product demonstrations, guide clients through proof-of-concepts, and help organizations strengthen their monitoring and performance capabilities.

Job Responsibility

  • Engage with customers to understand their monitoring, observability, and performance requirements
  • Deliver technical product demonstrations, solution walkthroughs, and workshops both online and on-site
  • Translate customer needs into effective monitoring and observability architectures for networks, servers, and applications
  • Support pre-sales activities, including responses to RFPs, RFIs, and technical clarifications
  • Guide customers through onboarding, configuration, and adoption of observability solutions
  • Provide feedback to product teams to improve features, documentation, and overall user experience
  • Represent the company at conferences, webinars, user groups, and industry events
  • Stay informed about new product capabilities, observability trends, and cloud-native technologies

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with monitoring or observability tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, PRTG, SolarWinds, Grafana, or New Relic
  • Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes and cloud monitoring (AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Google Cloud Operations)
  • Basic understanding of OpenTelemetry, distributed systems, or APM concepts is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for both technical and business audiences
  • Professional proficiency in English and Dutch
  • Ability to work with customers throughout the full pre-sales and implementation cycle

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT operations, monitoring, observability, or system engineering
  • Experience with performance monitoring for networks, servers, applications, or cloud environments
