Job Description

This contract-to-hire role will serve as the primary onsite IT presence, providing hands-on technical support across office and manufacturing environments. The position also supports additional Iowa locations and works closely with remote IT leadership. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, high-demand manufacturing environment while managing day-to-day support, site visits, and communication across locations.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide on-site and remote IT support for office and manufacturing users
  • Act as the primary IT contact for multiple Iowa locations, maintaining regular on-site presence
  • Manage and resolve service requests and incidents through the ticketing system
  • Support deployment, configuration, and maintenance of end-user devices
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and access issues with urgency and ownership
  • Collaborate with IT managers and distributed teams to ensure consistent support
  • Document issues, solutions, and follow established IT policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Experience supporting users in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Proficiency with O365, Active Directory, and SCCM
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize independently
  • 2+ years of IT support or technical analyst experience
  • Technical degree, certifications, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred
  • Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
