Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking IT Teacher for a high-achieving secondary school in Plymouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging lessons across KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5. Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering high-quality lessons in ICT and Computer Science (including coding, web development, and data analysis)
  • Inspiring students to explore careers in technology and engineering

  • Assessing and tracking student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them excel in exams
  • Contributing to extracurricular clubs, such as coding workshops or e-sports teams

Requirements:

  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and various programming languages (e.g., Python, Java)
  • Compliance: Enhanced DBS on the update service (or a willingness to apply for one)
