We are seeking an energetic, customer-focused, and self-starting professional to support the efficiency and effectiveness of IT systems for end users and internal processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1–3 years of experience in IT systems support—or someone looking to grow into the role. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Job Responsibility:
Own and resolve less complex system support tickets and inquiries in alignment with SLAs
Collaborate with internal IT teams, vendors, and business partners to debug, build, and test system fixes or enhancements
Serve as a liaison between vendors and business partners
Maintain documentation including instruction manuals and knowledge base materials
Participate in system testing (functional, integration, UAT) including planning, execution, and reporting
Support audit compliance and cybersecurity initiatives
Provide metrics and reporting on system performance and issue resolution
Assist in managing cross-functional IT projects and initiatives
Support requirements gathering and documentation of SMART goals
Coordinate testing activities and ensure timely milestone completion
Communicate project updates to stakeholders and leadership
Promote positive team dynamics and stakeholder relationships
Learn stakeholder operations and software systems to provide effective support
Act as a consultant between stakeholders and software developers
Identify lessons learned and contribute to process improvements across systems and departments
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or related field (or equivalent experience)
1–3 years of experience in IT support, systems support, or related roles (preferred but not required)
Willingness to work onsite 1–2 days per week or as needed
Familiarity with ITIL processes (preferred)
Basic knowledge of system security, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and business applications
Experience with project management principles and successful project involvement
Ability to communicate technical information clearly and patiently to non-technical audiences
Experience in the utility industry is a plus
Ethical, honest, and dependable with the ability to perform under pressure
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have:
Experience in the utility industry
Familiarity with ITIL processes
