We are seeking a skilled IT Systems & Network Support Specialist to join our team in San Diego. The ideal candidate will bring strong networking knowledge, hands-on experience with Windows Server, storage, and multi-site support, as well as expertise in modern device and application deployment. Job Responsibility

  • Deliver reliable support and maintenance for core infrastructure: network, server, and storage systems, ensuring stability and end-user satisfaction
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, VPNs, and Wi-Fi across multiple business sites
  • Manage ticketing efficiently using Zendesk or similar tools, including clear documentation, proper prioritization, escalation, and adherence to SLAs
  • Coordinate with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) for circuit installs, outages, and upgrades impacting multiple locations
  • Perform basic Windows Server maintenance (patching, managing services, file/print permissions, backup/restore procedures)
  • Support storage infrastructure (file share/NAS/SAN administration, access permissions, backup awareness)
  • Administer Microsoft 365 (user lifecycle, Exchange/Teams, licensing, access management)
  • Deploy and manage devices and applications via Intune and Jamf, including packaging, policy enforcement, and device provisioning
  • Develop clear technical change documentation for rollouts, including impact analysis, rollback, and validation steps
  • Lead and execute smaller-scale rollouts (network configuration changes, hardware refreshes, application deployments) with minimal supervision

Requirements

  • Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, VLANs, routing, VPN, Wi‑Fi troubleshooting
  • Multi-site support experience and ISP coordination
  • Solid ticketing discipline (Zendesk preferred): clear notes, prioritization, escalation, SLA awareness
  • Server maintenance: Windows Server basics (patching, services, file/print, permissions, backups/restore awareness)
  • Storage fundamentals (file shares, NAS/SAN basics, access permissions, backup awareness)
  • Microsoft 365 administration: user lifecycle, Exchange/Teams basics, licensing, access management
  • Application and device deployment via Intune and Jamf (application packaging, policy deployment, device provisioning)
  • Ability to write clear change documentation (impact, steps, validation, rollback)
  • Comfortable leading small rollouts (network changes, device refreshes, app deployments, etc.)

Nice to have

  • Azure / Entra ID fundamentals (identity/access, RBAC basics)
  • Firewall experience (Fortinet/Meraki/Palo Alto), site‑to‑site VPN/IPsec
  • PowerShell scripting for automation
  • Monitoring/logging and root‑cause analysis mindset
