Job Responsibility:

  • Administer servers, network devices, telecommunications systems, and related infrastructure to keep daily technology operations stable and responsive
  • Monitor system health, backup performance, and overall network availability, taking corrective action to minimize downtime and protect business continuity
  • Strengthen the organization’s security posture by reviewing vulnerabilities, investigating potential threats, and applying safeguards that reduce risk
  • Manage user onboarding tasks such as account creation, access configuration, and permissions administration across business systems
  • Provide technical assistance for hardware, software, and connectivity issues, resolving end-user problems in a timely and thorough manner
  • Maintain software and technology licensing records to support compliance and ensure renewals remain current
  • Train new users on internal systems and provide ongoing guidance that helps staff and members use technology effectively
  • Support hybrid IT environments, including virtualized and cloud-connected systems, while assisting with secure configuration and operational maintenance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline
  • candidates with a different degree may qualify with at least 5 years of relevant IT administration experience
  • Practical experience managing core infrastructure components such as Windows servers, routers, switches, firewalls, peripherals, and telecommunications platforms
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, and network issues in an end-user support environment
  • Working knowledge of network security practices and monitoring technologies, including tools used for intrusion detection, vulnerability review, or security event monitoring
  • Experience administering Active Directory, virtualization platforms such as VMware, and hybrid IT environments
  • Strong judgment in identifying technical or security risks, with the ability to escalate critical concerns appropriately
  • Effective communication, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure fundamentals, security compliance expectations, and ongoing software licensing oversight
  • Microsoft or networking certifications are a plus
