The IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the IT infrastructure, network devices, and end-user systems at the SpectraMedix Hyderabad office, as well as providing remote support to other offices when required. This role will serve as the sole IT representative at the Hyderabad location, managing day-to-day IT operations, ensuring uptime of critical systems, and coordinating with the corporate IT and Security teams to implement global IT and compliance policies.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and maintain local Windows Servers, Hyper-V virtual machines, Active Directory, and other infrastructure components
Support and monitor local and remote systems, including laptops, servers, switches, and UPS units
Apply OS patches, updates, and perform routine server health checks
Maintain DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy configurations
Coordinate with the central IT team for Azure and QTS data center administration, migrations, and upgrades
Support SpectraMedix’s System Security Plan (SSP) and maintain compliance with HITRUST CSF standards
Administrator and monitor LAN/WAN infrastructure, including switches and Wi-Fi Access Points
Perform network troubleshooting
Manage the ILL connection, ensuring uptime and timely escalation with the service provider
Ensure environmental monitoring (temperature, humidity) and physical security compliance for the Hyderabad IT infrastructure
Implement and enforce endpoint protection, patch management, and vulnerability remediation
Enforce corporate IT security policies and guidelines from the CISO
Maintain and monitor access control systems and CCTV DVR/NVR
Participate in the local and regional Incident Response Team when activated
Provide first-line support to Hyderabad users for laptops, desktops, printers, and network connectivity
Assist with user onboarding/offboarding, account provisioning, and email setup
Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure compliance with hardware standards
Coordinate with the Gurgaon and US IT teams for escalations and policy alignment
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in IT system and network administration
Ease with PowerShell scripting, automation, or monitoring tools
Strong working knowledge of: Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
