Job Description

IT system analyst provides support, implementation, and design services for Microsoft Active Directory and Windows-based systems across the enterprise, including directory and file server solutions. Resolves and appropriately completes assigned cases and change requests and acts as an escalation for support issues. Applies new solutions through research and collaboration with team and determines course of action for new application initiatives. Implements new software solutions as required by the business. The core infrastructure technology duties include enterprise Microsoft Active Directory and Windows file services architecture design, Implementation, management, global system security and policy configuration, and top-level support for enterprise-wide initiatives. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of Active Directory, File service, Federation, Windows Server 2012 R2/2016/2019/2022/2025 Windows 10 Windows security, Distributed File System, Certificate Service, Windows cluster, and related technology.

Job Responsibility

Produce enterprise-level designs for Active Directory and Windows File Service to the users
Identify opportunities to innovate, extend and enhance service delivery everywhere possible
Own Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management for corporate Identity Management environment
Serves as escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems
User, OU, and other AD resource maintenance as per the IT policies
Installing, configuring ,troubleshooting and managing Windows,RODC, File server,DNS,DHCP environment
Serves as the first line of escalation support for domain technology
Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all Active Directory related servers and resources, system, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs
Install, configure, and maintain Active Directory and third-party software utilities for hardware systems within company operational guidelines
Basic Ideas of Cloud technologies like Azure, AWS and Google cloud and office365 including Azure Entra ID
Create and maintain system documentation for domain technologies, including installation, configuration, and appropriate troubleshooting steps
Improve existing processes through solutions to recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions or documentation
Provide training as required
Ticket based end user end user support
Email security management and user support

Requirements

B.S. degree in a computer science, information technology, B. Tech computer related discipline or 3+ years IT work experience in a global information technology infrastructure environment
Minimum 2-3 years overall IT experience with 3-4 years of experience working with Microsoft Identity technologies including Active Directory, Windows File Services, and Group Policies
Must show a progressive advancement in responsibility including deep troubleshooting technical skills
Must understand how to identify and install industry best practices
Ability to translate technical issues into understandable business language for end users
Desired experience working in a fast-paced IT environment with a career track record of engineering, developing, deploying, and maintaining business critical systems in technical expertise including hands on solution development and implementation experience
Team Player with communication, organizational, and strong interpersonal skills
Must be able to work in a team environment with a “can do” attitude capable of overcoming difficult challenges
Self-motivated, with keen attention to detail and excellent judgment skills
Ability to establish new standards for quality, performance, and productivity
Must have excellent writing and communication skills, strong communicator with ability to maintain open communication with internal employees, managers, and 3rd parties

Expert knowledge in administering Active Directory (AD) and GPO’s
Expert knowledge of AD, PKI, Windows Server 2012 R2/2016/2019/2022/2025/win10/Win11
Expert knowledge of DNS, DHCP, DFS, in Windows 2012 R2/Windows 2016/2019/2022/2025 landscape
Deep knowledge of PowerShell and scripting
Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Online and Azure Entra ID
Extensive knowledge in infrastructure and server theories, principles, and concepts

Knowledge of Microsoft Enterprise Mobility Security feature with focus areas including AD Connect with Single sign on, Conditional Access, Intune, MFA, Automatic Data Classification & Information Protection and Threat Analytics are preferable
