Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Support Technician to join our fantastic IT Services team at the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group. In this hands-on role, you will help staff and students get the most from their technology - resolving day-to-day issues, setting up and maintaining equipment, and keeping our services running smoothly. You will work in a modern Microsoft 365 and Windows 11 environment, with the backing of experienced colleagues who will support you to build confidence and grow your skills.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide first-line support by picking up helpdesk requests and working through them promptly
  • Build, configure and deploy PCs, laptops, tablets, phones and peripherals
  • Keep IT equipment in great shape through routine checks, troubleshooting issues, and swapping parts where needed

Requirements:

  • GCSEs in English and Maths A*-C/9-4 or equivalent
  • Level 3 or higher ICT qualification, or equivalent experience
  • Foundation of IT knowledge
