Job Description:

Our client is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide hands-on technical and administrative support for end-user systems and workplace technology. This role is responsible for supporting laptops, printers, network-connected devices, and core business applications while serving as a primary point of contact for first-level technical support.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for end users, including first-level troubleshooting of hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Configure, deploy, maintain, and repair laptops and peripheral devices
  • Perform workstation administration across Windows-based platforms
  • Create and manage user accounts in Active Directory and email systems
  • Install, configure, and maintain user workstations and business applications
  • Add systems to the network and domain
  • manage file and folder permissions
  • Install software updates, patches, and perform preventative maintenance
  • Support and troubleshoot network-connected devices including laser printers, Zebra printers, and barcode scanners
  • Assist with cabling and cabling projects as needed
  • Document technical processes, procedures, and issue resolutions
  • Partner with the Systems Administrator on troubleshooting network and server issues as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of IT support experience in a small to mid-sized client/server environment
  • Working knowledge of Windows workstation administration
  • Experience with Active Directory user management
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, wireless)
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues

  • CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
  • Associate degree or additional IT-related certifications
