IT Support Technician (1st Line). We’re currently recruiting for an IT Support Technician to join a growing and supportive IT team. This role is ideal for someone with around two years of hands-on IT support experience who is looking to develop their technical skills in a varied, fast-paced environment. As the first point of contact for the business, you’ll provide 1st line support to users, resolving day-to-day technical issues and escalating more complex problems when required. You’ll be involved in a wide range of tasks, from new user setups and laptop configurations to printer installations and occasional off-site firewall installations.
Job Responsibility:
Act as the initial point of contact for IT support queries via phone, email, and in person
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues
Provide remote support to users across multiple locations
Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and operating systems
Log support requests and resolutions
Maintain accurate records of hardware
Assist with routine hardware maintenance and software updates
Provide guidance and training to users on company systems
Requirements:
Experience in an IT support or service desk role
Experience with Active Directory
Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online and Power Automate
Experience managing Sophos Central and antivirus policies
