Insitu has an immediate need for an IT Support Technician for a contract opportunity that is onsite in Bingen, WA. This role troubleshoots, services, and repairs a wide variety computer hardware, software, and AV equipment. Provides IT support to customers, responds to service requests, find fixes, workarounds and final solutions by troubleshooting issues while providing exemplary customer service. Maintains support logs and issues tracking, provides instructions to user on a wide variety of applications and equipment. Must be technically capable and a self-starter with strong organizational and customer service skills.
Job Responsibility:
Initial system configuration of computers, peripheral equipment, and software
Develops standard guidelines to be used for self-help and/or responding to customer requests
Respond to tickets in accordance with established guidelines
Record, track, and document the help desk request problem solving process including actions taken through to the final resolution
Respond in timely manner to requests and issues
Repair and replace equipment as needed
Provide onsite and remote support to end users
Elevates and coordinates out of scope technical issues
Assesses needs and recommends hardware or software to meet end user needs
Enters purchase requisitions as necessary
Requirements:
3 years of related experience and an Associate's degree or a comparable combination of education and experience
Advanced understanding of computers, networks and software
Experience using MS Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMS
High attention to detail
Ability and willingness to work in a collaborative team environment
Ability and willingness to quickly learn new technology and software
Ability to lift 35 lbs.
